The introduction of a micro process controlled tensioning system which automatically aligns and tensions the filter media assuring 100% accurate pleat formation.

The pleating machine is also equipped with a pre and post-heating system.

Filter cartridges have been extensively tested both in the field and in the laboratory to determine removal efficiencies and to ensure total surface-loading capability.

Our pleated paper filter media is made from a variety of natural and synthetic fibers. The fibers are bonded using

various resins to provide excellent filtration and solids holding characteristics.

 

FILTER REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNOLOGY

A micrometer is 1/1000 of a millimeter. Cartridges of membranes are available in different ratings from 0.1 micron up to over 100 micron and in a

variety of materials. It is therefore of utmost importance that the filter media suits your application.

 

Requirements for high quality filter elements:

►Adequate element strength and freedom from migration.

►An adequate dirt holding capacity.

►Low clean differential pressure drop across the filter.

►Performance maintained over a suitable temperature range.

►Component parts suitable for and compatible with the fluid concerned.

►An ability to withstand pressure surges without rupturing or bypassing the filter media

 

System cleanliness becomes more critical as pressure increases in the industry to reduce maintenance cost.

 

Due to contamination only reliable and effective filtration systems can offer protection against downtime.

 

Far better life will be achieved with a moderate quality clean oil, than the highest quality oil, but with low cleanliness.

 

A filter cartridge with an affinity for free water can also be supplied, ideal for the removal of small quantities of water from oil.
